Finally getting this 87 250 together with the +2 Metal Tech A Arms.Just curious if anyone has a camber setup for trailriding occasional MX...Is there a negative camber degree or measurement the top of the wheel should be tipped in compared to the bottom or should I just set the camber straight up 0 degrees?
I used our vintage car alignment spindles and gauges to set the toe and can do the same for the camber as well,Any info is appreciated.
Wow is all I can say to that sliding box.
Rainman, it depends on how you ride your quad. For recreational and MX, I would go for 3* negative camber.
Check out this guide from Lonestar Racing
http://www.lsracing.com/img/Guide_21.pdfI run mine around 4-5* negative camber using shims on my Zilla for sand.
Good luck.
Thanks Rogue for the great info..............As far as that sliding box I never understood the fascination with that. Those tired likely burn the inside edge of REAL fast. And them low profile tires ain,t cheap. To each their own I guess.
I've got a lot of better things to do with my money. Some people have more money than smarts I guess.
