Here a pic of the lower bearing, which still seems useable. Also you can make out part of a stamped serial # 8D then the seal covers the rest except the last digit which is F.

Here is the only notable damage to this shock. It's really not as bad in person as it looks. This isn't gouges or plier marks. It's just where a little bit of chrome is chipped. It's really close to the bottom out point once the bumper is installed. I'm not a shock guru, but I'd still say it's fine. Most of the markings on the spring are just grease. There's no nitrogen charge, but I can here the oil inside the canister. The hose looks pretty good too.
