You may be better off having a machinist take care of the issue. Mine is probably in way worse shape and it's been said on here it can be fixed. My 86' swinger broke on the chain side around the bearing housing. Split about a 1/16 of an inch or better maybe. These are getting kind of hard to find unless you want to jump on eBay and pay $120-$250. Even then you take the chance of finding cracks after it's already been paid for and good luck getting your money back. I'm saving my swinger and will have it fixed in the future when I'm rebuilding it.
