LT80 rear axle nuts
« on: June 22, 2015, 08:40:53 am »
Guys, how are you going about tightening the inner axle nuts on these? Rocky Mountain doesn't seem to carry the Tusk brand axle wrenches for these bikes. Might just have to make something from scratch but thought I'd see what others are doing. I've just been using an adjustable wrench, but it's too wide for the inner nut so I've been trying to "sort of" hold it with a pair of channel lock pliers, but even that's really too wide so I'm just barely able to grip it.

Also, anyone know the nut size off the top of their head? I'd like to keep searching online. Having the size would be helpful.

Thanks!

Yep. My nuts are just getting old Jack. They don't stay in place like they used to. :)
