Not sure... I know they had some issues w/ the 800 e-tec crank bearings when they came out... not sure if they have corrected that or not....?  The 600 e-tec's seem to be holding up very well... I asked the service manager at a local dealer and he said he has yet to have one in for a top-end rebuild.... good news!!
