When I post I'm returned to the parent forum, how about when you post you're returned to the original thread you posted in that way you can see your work and check for errors or wrong/misspelled words or things that could be misconstrued?

Are you checking in the lower box in Reply "Return to this topic" plus there is a set up under profile also.
