Yes the splines are for adjusting the width.  I need to remember to take the scale with me and weight the whole swing arm setup.  It is stupid light weight with the chromoly arm and light weight axle...

I can't wait to ride this thing!!!!!!

yeah it looks pretty bad @$$..
life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sidays totally worn out shouting "HOLY SH*T...WHAT A RIDE!"

Made some real progress this weekend!!!!!!  Got started on fitting the motor in the frame.   Rear lower mount and rod for the footpegs installed.  Upper rear motor mount installed.  Starting working on the front portion of cradle.    Need to get the bike set at ride height now and start the lower portion of the cradle.  On to the pics!!!!!

Made some progress lately!  Had to put the bike back on the rack again and straighten the nose of the chassis.  But good to go now.  This bike will track straight as an arrow!!!  Hopefully have it up on all fours in the next week.  Then starting the brackets/mount for the electrical, header and oil cooler etc...  Then build the new rear subframe and fuel tank.  Still alot to do but getting there.  I will try and get some pics up of the bike rolling soon!!!!

Built the battery box.  I will pick up the tubing this week to build the new rear sub frame.   Then I can weld in the battery box.

Battery box with starter solenoid mount in the bike.   Sarting on the mount for the CDI.   Mock up shot of the fuel tank off the other bike.
