2009 LTR450 Limited Edition
« on: August 16, 2015, 11:22:20 am »
As much fun as the 87 Quadzilla was to build (http://www.suzukiquadracerhq.com/lt500-general-discussion/1987-lt500r/), we needed something that we could ride every day. Not a beater by any means, just something that was fast and you wouldn't mind getting dirty. So we've added another Quadracer to the stable and I have a feeling another may follow before long because this one is a blast. The motor is all stock but it's full of mods that make it a dream to ride!

Yoshimura exhaust
Yoshimura cherry bomb
Yoshimura throttle body nut
Pro-Tec airbox lid
Alba +2+1 steering stem
Precision shock & vibe handlebar clamp
Magura hydraulic clutch
ASV levers
Steel braided brake lines
Wave rotors
Houser Pro Bounce foot pegs with heel guards
PRM bumper and grab bar
PRM a-arm and swingarm skid plate
Poly chassis skid plate
HiPer front and rear beadlocks w/ Razr2 front and Kenda rear tires
K&K case saver
Temp guage / line cooler

I think that may be it, but what else can you ask for except maybe some aftermarket shocks. To be honest, the oem shocks feel so good, I don't think I would change them. Probably one of the best parts is that all of this is enjoyable on good old unmixed 93 octane fuel.

It was a trade for a 2008 Suzuki 750 KingQuad 4x4 with quite a few accessories including OEM camouflage fenders, Warn winch, Warn snow plow, and Warn power pivot. He had a Kawasaki Brute before and was looking to get another 4x4. We had two 750 KingQuads, so it kinda worked out for everyone.

Yes, I just forgot about it. There's a CCP steering stabilizer on there as well!

scawn has not had a chance to get this thing out of third gear BUT I HAVE. Going to have Scott (scawn) with yellow on the brain instead of red. Haahaha.... Truth be known he would have another ltr right next to this one if he could get away with it
