My silencer pipe is touching my air box. No matter what I do it eventually ends up back to that spot. It has melted in a bit and I want to wrap something around the exhaust on that spot to prevent it from melting all the way through.
Any ideas what would hold up for a while and not melt? Piece of radiator hose maybe?

Try putting aluminum foil tape on the air box  it has worked for me on the fenders. Look for heat shield tape at auto parts stores

Wrap it with header wrap and then foil tape it.

Thanks $17 on Cool Tape I'll see how it holds up over the next 4 days on the trails.

I used the same stuff on my plastics, worked out pretty good.
