What can I use to put around my exhaust where it touches my air box

• What can I use to put around my exhaust where it touches my air box

• My silencer pipe is touching my air box. No matter what I do it eventually ends up back to that spot. It has melted in a bit and I want to wrap something around the exhaust on that spot to prevent it from melting all the way through.
  Any ideas what would hold up for a while and not melt? Piece of radiator hose maybe?

• Try putting aluminum foil tape on the air box  it has worked for me on the fenders. Look for heat shield tape at auto parts stores

• Wrap it with header wrap and then foil tape it.
