build a Pipe for Autobahn ?
« on: April 13, 2014, 10:41:08 am »
ok I need a pipe to ride along the highway.
what to buy the best HPR 19. or is there such a thing already?
or should I build a specially itself?
someone has to optimize the experience a pipe or the exhaust system?

I'm probably going to get a lot of flak for this but I'd go with a V-1 Dr. Q Pipe.

Since you'll be running flat ground and will not need a lot of pulling power for steep hills I think this would be your best bet.

The pipe will spin the motor over 9,000 RPM (revolutions per minute) so make sure your motor is in good shape.

And lastly you'll want to fluctuate the throttle (load/ no load) so you don't seize the piston.

The Q-Pipe should get you over 100 miles per hour if your intake and carb are big enough.

After thinking for a minute you could also use a HPR pipe but change the gearing to be very tall, like a 15 or 16 front with like a 34-35 on the back.

The HPR pipe does not spin the motor as fast but it does generate a lot more torque.  Also I have heard of a couple guys doing this on the salt flats and hitting over 100 on their HPR zillas.

Here is a gearing calculator to tell you how fast you'll go at what RPM

I say a good mid-range pipe and tall gearing. Something that pulls hard in the middle.
V2 Q or HPR and BIG gears. 15/36 would be real steep but with a stout mid-range pipe you'll be able to cruise under 9,000rpm and not have to worry so much about high-rev wear on the engine. Jet her a few sizes fat as well and keep extra plugs with you.

whaa stop! oh no!
what you see on the picture is a sign 100 kmh
and that means you must not drive faster than 100 kmh = 65 miles for the upcoming exits.
I would also suffice as long as 75 miles on its products.
if the risk is "permanently" on zilla ?
Thank you for the setup for the Sprockets but I have the front 15 and rear 38 teeth.
but how can make smaller Sprockets?
and i have the v force 3... i wrote in this forum tey are no good reeds ? really?

Here is a link to some high speed testing discussions.

I believe Dezsled also posted up an old Dirt Wheels article on a 100mph zilla, he'll have to post the link to that one.

You mean the sign with the "100" and the red circle around it?  I thought that was the minimum miles per hour you could go  ;D

Our speed limit signs in the US are different, it didn't mean anything to me.

Just get a HPR 19, with the right gearing & intake tract and you'll be happy.

Look up the dcs6 pipe thread by Mitch. That's probably the power delivery your looking for since the dcs4 is more mid range.

Spark arresters required in Germany? DCS silencers has one, but the HPR silencer doesn't.

Sound limits in Germany? Both silencers do the job of quieting down the noise, but I'd bet both would have trouble passing a sound test required in some riding areas in so cal.

Yes a lot of limitations!
but in the case are the guidelines for the date of the first approval,
which was the year 1995, which is decibel limitation in this year ck 98 db! + - 2 db. ;-).
I've already something built for a Fat Boy silencers. the Silencer comes from a 60hp Opel city.
the silencers has a larger diameter than the Fat Boy. the output product of the engine is no obvious advantage.
and the mix becomes richer. C.K. 85 db like this ...

Where can i get a DCS 6 and the Price ?
