ZILLA MOTOR ON A 250 FRAME?
« on: August 19, 2015, 04:59:21 am »
Is it possible to install the beasty 500 motor on a 250 frame?  Has anybody heard of someone doing it or has anybody on here already done it?

Damn dude. Can I see some pictures?  How much work was it?  I bet it's a tight fit. Did you install extended a arms and swinger to compensate for the extra power?  Now I'm going to be thinking about this all day, that and possibly installing no2 on my 86' 250.  God I love this forum! +k2

brother has a hybrid. was stock swingarm for a while. the stock swingarm was great for trails and MX, but the new +4 is great for duning and drag racing.

It isn't that hard to put a 500 into a 250 as it has been done so many times.

I know a guy selling a 500 engine for $500+shipping. Just needs the top end to back together and a clutch cover.

RWB,
Welcome to the forum.

Please look around and feel free to use the search button.

There is an entire section on "Suzuki Conversions (Hybrids)" about halfway down on the main forum page including how to build them, modify the frame, where and what to do.

Let us know how your project turns out.
