Hello again!
What are folks doing for pipe mounts these days, with the stock ones being discontinued?
Thanx!

Thanks, Q!
Ya got me all excited... it's weird though; they have the description, but says 'unavailable to ship'. So does the exhaust gasket #1.
Thanks for the try!
BTW, CT Racing has a new pipe for the Quadzilla- the Fat Bastard. Saw it in the new Dirt Wheels mag. Mid to top, cone pipe, chrome, looks nice. Wonder how it will compare...
Only looking because I can't get Jerry to respond. I'd really like to get a pipe!

I'd really like to see "The fat bastard".  Doesnt look like theyve updated the website.

I didnt even notice that it wouldnt ship.   [|]

maybe this will work?  They're about the same length.

This site seems to have the OEM ones.

Thanks for those leads- I've emailed Bolton on availability on a few other parts as well as the pipe mounts. The Kaw ones are 6mm bolts I believe.
I had a used TRX250r mount that was almost exactly the same as the LT500, but they're also extinct.
Yeah, that CT pipe looks good and FAT! They're about a month out according to the phone lady.

Hello again!
What are folks doing for pipe mounts these days, with the stock ones being discontinued?
Thanx!

We will have pipe mounts in about 6 weeks.

We have 5 HPR-19 exhaust systems completed and are in boxes ready to ship.

I am still doing motor work and building pipes.  Our work force is just me and one part time worker.  I am still trying to find more qualified help so than I can serve more of you.

I am sorry guys, I had to stop answering the hundreds of calls and emails many of you had each week.  I could not get ANY work done with the volume of calls and emails.  95% to 99% of the calls and emails are the same 100 questions that every enthusiast has.  I have already answered the majority of these "Top 100 Questions" somewhere in this forum.  It appears guys with questions do not want to spend the time looking or they think that no one else ever had the same question that they have.

If you need to contact me the best way is through my email...    themotorgeek@gmail.com

If you need a pipe, motor work, or a part, please indicate the reason in the subject line of the email.  I may take me a few days to get back to you on orders.

Thanks Guys

Jerry Hall

Yee ha!
My HPR-19 arrived today. What a bazooka! This thing is HUGE compared to my Paul Turner pipe.
Hope to get it tested tomorrow, though it's supposed to be over 103 for the next few days...
No test riding in shorts with this thing waiting to take skin grafts off yer leg...! Oh well, scars are nature's trophies, I always say. ;)  +k2

I dont know what main jet you're using for the PT but get ready to increase that sucker!

Going from a modded Q1 pipe to the HPR19, my main jumped from 450 to 560 or 580. (bored stock carb 41.5mm)

Thanks for the tip. I had figured on 2-3 sizes right off, but I'll go with you and go big.
I actually just found a Hall modified '88 carb that the seller was using with a 19 pipe. He threw in 5 jets in the 540- 580 range. Should be a safe starting point.

Q2W, I just got this HPR '88 carb. The pilot is a 25, main is 600. The needle jet and needle are stock. Slide has slight mod on the intake side.
Is this close to what you're running?
I'm just confirming a good starting point; I would've thought the needle jet/needle would be changed somewhat.

yea, i have the 88+ carb bored.  My pilot is a 30 or 32.5.  Stock needle with the clip at the very top.

My bike always loaded up in 1/4 - 3/4 throttle range.  Putting the clip at the top of the needle made a night and day difference in how my bike ran.

So you could go one leaner on your needle jet (say R-2 to an R-0) and get your needle back to the middle to have some adjustability...
Cool though. That confirms I'll be in a safe zone to start.
Thanks again!  (Y)

Yea but changing to the HPR19 pipe didnt seem to affect anything but the main.  Pilot and needle were at the same spot with the Q pipe.

Specs:  ~800 elevation, no airbox/exposed 9" K&N airfilter, Mild Dune port w/reshaped dome and squish corrected, V2 reeds.

OK, that goes with what the seller of the carb said.
Is yours a big reed cylinder, or '88-up? What mix ratio?
