take your upper motor mount off your head it will save you a head gasket leak in your future. Alot of us here have eliminated them for this reason.

Buckeye, the head on my hybrid is o-ringed and I don't run the head stay mount either.

Too much frame flex. Ditch the head stay. 500kid is 100% right.

Never gave any thought to the upper motor mount and head gaskets.  Does make sense so my upper motor mount will be coming off the 250.

I've never had a prob on my 250 and I've had it about 15yrs!! I think it's a 500 issue only. My 500 blew many head gaskets till I found these knuckleheads!!! Lol
