They sure do look the same don't they. I bet that answer could be found by comparing part numbers from the RADmfg website. I'll go check it out now. This is a great thread.
I'm now looking for z400 or LTR rear hubs.

I meant the z400 carrier looks like the 250 one. Not sure what an LTR carrier looks like. I'm still gonna compare the z400 and LT carriers

I know for a fact the yfz hubs fit the 87 axles. And bump for the ltr axle as they are cheap and available!
I make carbon case savers, and sprocket covers for a bunch of crazies that own ancient bikes, Wait, I have an ancient LT250 too!!!

the 250 axle physically fits the ltr carrier so ill assume that the ltr will fit a 250 carrier but if you notice from the pics the ltr sprocket and brake hubs are further apart since the carrier is wider on the ltr. at zilla thon later this week ill try to measure the distance between the sprocket and brake disc themselves. even though the ltr carrier is wider the hubs are not flush and slide into the carrier so it my be more useful info for someone contemplating a swap. if i can find a 250 carrier ill try to get a pic of it with an ltr axle in it.
