So what is involved to get rid of it. Do you have to splice wires together? Ground any wires. All I want is a factory kill switch. No key.
The keys were mounted in front of the cross bar pad on the the steering stem and behind the headlight. I'm pretty sure that's where they were placed.
It for safety and LAW it is illegal in Canada to park a vehicle without safe way to prevent someone to start it. If my kid or a kid of my neighbor take my quadracer and get harm or maybe get killed, or do an accident, i am guilty.
I live in canada, and I don't run a key on any of my bikes or quads, except the can am outlander and the Suzuki twin peaks, cause they come with a key. It's not law that you have to key, at least not in western canada, if it was law they wouldn't sell dirt bikes with no key switch.
