1985 LT250R NEW TO THIS!!
« on: October 08, 2016, 09:42:47 pm »
I just picked up a very nice 85 lt250r after shopping around for about a month got a smoking deal on it. Used this site as reference now im a member! Its got a fresh top end fmf pipe works shocks and all ready for the dunes. Only issue is when you turn the bike off and leave the fuel on it just pours out the overflow hose which I am rebuilding the carb next weekend so after that should be good. Just curious will reeds help much? I was gonna do reeds and a pwk 38 or 39 eventually. thanks for the help!

I've found a guy who will make us 85' & 86' owners- a hand coned, hammered pipe, even offered to design and make the rest of the exhaust for a total of around $600-$650.  That's not including chrome job.  He's in southern Cali, somebody has already offered to lend him their 250 so he could design everything for it.  I've searched for a LONG time to find someone who could/would do this.  He is the only person in America I know of!  Would you be interested in buying a pipe?
