Kill Switch
« on: January 05, 2014, 06:08:27 pm »
The Kill switch on my 88 LT250R does not work.  What wires do I need to look at to try and figure out if my switch is bad or if the problem is something else.  The bike runs great and I have just been using the key as the kill switch.  Lights work fine as well.

Check your grounds or the internals of the kill switch could be shot.

I had a solder joint pop loose on a kill switch. Re-soldered and it was good to go.

Pop the switch open and take a look.
