Father Son Barn Find Full Restoration, Need Help.
« on: October 05, 2021, 07:29:57 am »
We happen to find this 1987 LT250R Model H. It needs a lot of work. We stripped it down to the frame. We are looking for RH rear fender support. I'm sure there will be more parts that we can't find.
The frame is being repaired and then off to the powder coater.
What is the name of the blue paint for these machines and where can i get it? What should I use for the paint for the engine? Where can I get a set of good plastics? These are faded and ****.
I tried posting a couple pics of the machine but it's telling me they are too large. I resized them on my phone to small but still won't work.

Need use a 3rd party for pics ,like photobucket or tapatalk etc.I use tapatalk.
I believe the frame color is champion blue 19f ,I'm not 100% sure on color but do recall seeing that mentioned on farcebook when this question has come up on there

Whats your thoughts on the quality of the clutch basket? I'm in need of one and I see there's one left on eBay. Do you have a part number for the cushions? Thanks Chris

The same seller on ebay in the uk has the cushions separately.  You have to message him and ask.  I ordered mine a couple weeks after I purchased the basket when I realized it didn't come with them. B

Looks like a good buy.
Those Turf Tamer rear tires work amazingly well on hardpack with sand and rocks. They hook up and last.

They're super light too.  hot knifing some lugs make a huge difference too.
