So when I bought my 89 lt250r the front brakes worked fine I've been tearing the quad down and I got the front calipers off I was changing the pads and in my Clymer manual it says there is meant to be some kind of spring that holds the pads mine don't have any spring things at all yet they worked any idea

works triple rate front shocks
AC mud screen front bumper
DG grab bar
Banshee throttle
lonestar brake line clamps
fatty glod series pipe with powercore silencer
asv clutch perch
asr ss +3 braided ss front lines
bored .08 over 
oring chain

 my front breaks never worked till this last month and i had the same problem i am not sure if they are 100% needed or not but i had gone through suzuki parts house to get the springs i think shipping cost more than the clip but i had gotten them anyway they did not cost to much !

Yeah it keeps pads centered in calipers, you really do need them , there cheap
Yeah it's fast an no you can't ride it
