Impulse buy on the Craigslist  over the weekend. PO said its been sittin in a barn for 5 years. He changed the oil and new gass and it fired up. Pics are after I cleaned it up \. It was covered in barn dust and birdshit. Runs very good. Maybe needs a bit of tweaking with the jetting. TM38 carb. Boysen rad valve. Works shocks all around, rear is pogoing. Extra set of new wheels with almost new tired studded. Pep stabilizer. Full FMF.

It needs a-arm bushings, all of em. I was the TM Designworks bushing kit on ebay  http://www.ebay.com/itm/321480803119?ssPageName=http://www.ebay.com/itm/321480803119?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_852wt_900STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_852wt_900  Has anyone run these? The Allballs kit for one a-arm is like $35, so about $140 to do all four arms, ouch.

There is no airbox. Just a beat up crappy k&n on the back of the carb. I like to run airboxes and lids on all my quads. What years of airboxes will worh on my '89 with a TM38?

What years of plastics will work on my '89? It has nice race Maiers black. I might wanna go yellow since my Zilla is all black. I know I'm gonna go blue frame and sparkly silver a-arms. Migh be lookin to trde fenders.

Probably gonna ice race it this winter cause the Zilla is bue for a bottom end. Anyone have a sway bar for sale? Ie looked on ebay, but all I see is the universal  Durablue one.

Thanks, Matt.

87-89 airbox will work, if you want a straight seat get 85-86 back plastic, for the T seat get 87-92 back plastic that is the only real difference beteween the years besides colors.

I'll take those black plastics for my hybrid.

Sorry, now Im thinkin of keeping the black fenders.  They look better than the black ones on my Zilla with the dumbo ears. Never been a fan of race cut fenders, but Im diggin these. Hard to explain, not all cut up looking. Like theyre made to be that way. To be honest Ive never seen another lt250r in person besides mine, but from pics the yellow looks badass.
