Nope, I'm saying remove the center front plastic piece between the front fenders and if need be, the hood too.  Then bolt the new air scoops in place of those middle plastic pieces you removed.  Make brackets on the new radiator shroud to bolt up where the fenders mount to the frame.  It wouldn't have to be big or goddy, just a shroud that flares outwards on the sides and level on the top and bottom with maybe a piece of aluminum running vertical or horizontal in the middle of the aluminum shroud.  Does that make sense?

Something that I've wanted to do to one of my zillas is to put an LTR or Raptor radiator down lower in my frame. Maybe that could be an idea for the LT-250 along with a custom aluminum scoop?

I think that aluminum shrouds will sell very well in our store.  It is something new.  If done with great care and great thought in the design, a person who made them could do quite well.  It would be an easy installation too.  It's been a while since we had a new aftermarket part, aside from the pipes being made.  And the shroud , I think, would completely change the look from the sides and the front.  Most other quads from the late 80's on have a shroud of some kind right?  I think it's been a long time coming that this community develops a shroud for the 250's and if possible the 500!  Has anybody seen a qr with an aluminum shroud on it before ?

So somebody agrees with me,  who else thinks we should have a shroud developed?

Then get them made. It wouldn't be hard. I know a guy that would make them. You just need to send him some cardboard cut out of the templates and he can make shrouds. It is that easy.

I'm pretty sure he just wants someone else to make it for him.  He posted a thread wanting people to design it.

Not just for me, but somebody who could make like 20 and have them listed in the store for sale.  I personally want one.  Who else would buy one?

No one would make 20 without pre-orders for all 20. It isn't smart business. Like I said before, make your own template. I know a guy that can make them. He can even keep the drawings on files so anyone can order them and he will make them as orders come in.

That's probably good advice.  I'm just trying to think of stuff that we could in ,small numbers, that we could sell in the store.  Without new ideas we are limited.  These 30 year old machines have less and less aftermarket options as time goes on.  If anybody else has an idea, please share it with us.

Since pretty much everything that can be done with the qr's, I think it's about time someone strapped a small jet jet engine on it.  Any takers?

I want more aftermarket custom aluminum parts.  Like an aluminum gas tank, radiator shroud, front bumper maybe a few different designs of them.  What do you guys think?  I just know that aftermarket parts for us is very minimal.
