85' 86' 250R FMF MUFFLER VARIATIONS ???
« on: June 27, 2016, 05:18:56 pm »
For those of us owning an 85' or an 86' 250R, we are limited with exhaust options.  FMF is pretty much the only new exhaust currently available.  So I got to looking at the mufflers FMF makes for the 85' & 86'.  I found power core and power core 2, and I may have seen a turbine muffler as well, my question is, what's the differences between FMF models?  If any.

I believe the turbine core has a spark arrestor and is supposed to be a sliencer. Where as the power core doesn't have a spark arrestor and it a but louder and more of a "race" tail pipe.

Turbine core is the spark arrester version. Not sure of the difference between power core 1 & 2 although think it may be a slight change is shape/outlet design.
