I have a 92 lt250 and when it's under 35 degrees it will rev supper high when I start it but after 5-10 seconds it will idle normal. I turn the gas off when I don't ride and before I start it I turn the gas on to let gas get in the bowl. Also I have stock jetting
Cold engine and colder temps Will do that. As long as its not excessively high idle, and after it warms up it when you blip the throttle it drop immediately back to Idle its fine. If it hangs at all when warmed up, richen the air screw a little at a time until it cures it. If it doesn't make any difference richen the needle by one clip position and reset air screw and repeat procedure until it stops hanging and is responsive when you feed it throttle.
Thanks man, I noticed I have the idle screw almost all the way that so why it revved high lol I backed the idle screw out 3 turns she starts up and idles perfect
