clutch cable

ok so i went to pull in my cluch and it pulled in like normal but then i would let out it is stuck out is there something i can do to fix this or do i need a new cable
when in doubt braaaap it out

where is the clutch arm at,

so is arm straight towards carb or facing foward.
if its foward then a few things can be wrong, maybe clutch basket has bad groves in it and fibers are getting hung up. or you dont have the clutch actuator in correctly. or clutch cable has kink and may be broke
