This is the proposed plan for a 1985-1986 LT376R engine. Anyone wanna build it? S~
AIR CLEANER
The CAP will not be used.
The SCREW will not be used.
The OUTLET PIPE used will be a custom tube.
The AIR CLEANER SPRING will not be used.
The CLAMP is added and will be correctly sized.
The CLAMP used will be correctly sized.
CLUTCH
The PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR used will have an anti-wear coating on the CLUTCH DRIVE PLATE areas.
The CLUTCH SLEEVE HUB used will have an anti-wear coating on all areas except the 1st CLUTCH DRIVE PLATE area.
The THRUST WASHER used will have an anti-wear coating on the CLUTCH SLEEVE HUB side.
The 7 CLUTCH DRIVE PLATES used will have anti-wear coatings on the PRIMARY DRIVEN GEAR areas.
The 6 CLUTCH DRIVEN PLATES used will have anti-wear coatings on the CLUTCH SLEEVE HUB areas.
The CLUTCH DRIVEN PLATE will not be used.
The WAVE WASHER SEAT will not be used.
The STOPPER RING will not be used.
The CLUTCH WAVE WASHER will not be used.
The CLUTCH PRESSURE DISK used will have an anti-wear coating on all areas except the CLUTCH DRIVE PLATE area.
The 5 CLUTCH SPRINGS used will be out of a clutch kit, with anti-wear coatings.
The 5 BOLTS used will have anti-wear coatings on the CLUTCH SPRING side of the washers.
The CLUTCH RELEASE RACK used will have an anti-wear coating on the BEARING area.
The BEARING used will have an anti-wear coating.
The BOLT used will be an 01550-06167 bolt.
CRANK BALANCER
The CRANK BALANCER used will be rebalanced with the new reciprocating assembly.
The CRANK BALANCER WEIGHT used will be a custom weight, rebalanced with the new reciprocating assembly.
CRANKCASE
The CRANKCASE SET used will be either a highly modified stock or custom sandcast set, with porting.
The 3 SCREWS used will be 01547-06307 BOLTS.
The 2 SCREWS used will be 01547-06407 BOLTS.
The SCREW used will be a 01547-06457 BOLT.
The 5 SCREWS used will be 01547-06507 BOLTS.
The SCREW used will be a 01547-06607 BOLT.
The 2 SCREWS used will be 01547-06657 BOLTS.
The OIL INSPECTION CAP will not be used if a custom sandcast CRANKCASE SET is used.
The 2 SCREWS will not be used if a custom sandcast CRANKCASE SET is used.
The 2 SCREWS used will be 01547-06107 BOLTS if a highly modified stock CRANKCASE SET is used.
The PLUG will not be used if a custom sandcast CRANKCASE SET is used.
The DRAIN PLUG used will be magnetic.
CRANKCASE COVER
The 8 SCREWS used will be 01547-06257 BOLTS.
The 4 SCREWS used will be 01547-06257 BOLTS.
The FRONT CHAIN GUIDE PLATE used will be a custom thicker plate that connects to the SHAFT.
The 2 BOLTS used will be 01550-08307 bolts.
The 2 LOCK WASHERS will not be used.
The 2 WASHERS will not be used.
CRANKSHAFT
The PISTON used will be an 86mm WISECO 2400M08600 piston.
The PISTON RING SET used will be an 86mm WISECO 3385KD set.
The PISTON PIN used will be a 20x55.8mm PRO-X 04.2055.8 pin.
The 2 PISTON PIN CIRCLIPS used will be 20mm WISECO CW20 clips.
The BEARING used will be a 20x25x25mm YAMAHA 93310-320G0-00 bearing.
The 2 WASHERS will not be used.
The CRANKSHAFT ASSEMBLY used will be rebalanced with the new reciprocating assembly.
The CONNECTING ROD KIT used will be a 25x32x125x20x20 PRO-X 03.2510P kit.
The WASHERS used will be 24x41x1mm 03W.24411.0 PRO-X washers.
The CRANK PIN used will be a 24x55mm 12211-14301 pin.
The BEARING used will be a 24x32x20mm 22.243220F PRO-X bearing.
The RH CRANKSHAFT used will be a stock half, welded, machined, hardened, and remachined for a 24mm crank pin and 1mm narrower WASHER area, and be stuffed.
The LH CRANKSHAFT used will be a stock half, welded, machined, hardened, and remachined for a 24mm crank pin and 1mm narrower WASHER area, and be stuffed.
The RH BEARING used will be a hybrid ceramic 6206 bearing.
The LH BEARING used will be a hybrid ceramic 62/32C bearing.
The SHIM will not be used.
CYLINDER
The CYLINDER HEAD used will be a modified ARCTIC CAT 3003-757 head.
The MANIFOLD used will be a custom manifold.
The MANIFOLD GASKET used will be an ARCTIC CAT 3003-514 gasket.
The 2 BOLTS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3004-369 bolts.
The OUTER HEAD O-RING used will be an ARCTIC CAT 3003-334 o-ring.
The 8 HEAD BOLT O-RINGS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3003-227 o-rings.
The INNER HEAD O-RING used will be an ARCTIC CAT 3003-335 o-ring.
The 8 HEAD BOLTS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3007-408 bolts.
The SPARK PLUG used will be an NGK BR9EIX plug.
The CYLINDER used will be a decked, bored, ported, and nikasiled ARCTIC CAT 3004-458 cylinder.
The CYLINDER GASKET used will be a ported ARCTIC CAT 3003-599 gasket.
The 4 CYLINDER STUD BOLTS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3005-207 studs.
The 4 NUTS used will be 08316-16108 nuts.
The 2 STUD BOLTS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3007-520 studs.
The 2 NUTS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3004-326 nuts.
The REED VALVE ASSEMBLY used will be a modified ARCTIC CAT 3003-797 assembly.
The REED VALVE SEAT used will be a ported seat, out of an ARCTIC CAT 3003-797 assembly.
The REED VALVE used will be a CARBON TECH 176LT valve.
The REED VALVE STOPPER used will be a modified ARCTIC CAT 3003-798 stopper.
The 4 SCREWS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3004-422 screws.
The 4 LOCK WASHERS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3003-967 washers.
The REED VALVE GASKET used will be a ported ARCTIC CAT 3004-134 gasket.
The 2 MACHINE SCREWS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3007-689 screws.
The 4 STUD BOLTS used will be ARCTIC CAT 3007-415 studs.
The 4 NUTS used will be 08316-16085 nuts.
The EXHAUST GASKET used will be a ported ARCTIC CAT 3004-135 gasket.
The CARBURETOR FLANGE WITH CLAMP used will be a ported ARCTIC CAT 0670-198 flange.
ELECTRICAL
The C.D.I. UNIT used will be a more advanced unit.
The IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY used will be a more advanced assembly.
The SPARK PLUG CAP used will be a more advanced cap.
GEAR SHIFTING
The GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 1 used will have an anti-wear coating.
The GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 2 used will have an anti-wear coating.
The GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 3 used will have an anti-wear coating.
The SHIFT FORK SHAFT NO. 1 used will have an anti-wear coating on the GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 1 and GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 2 areas.
The SHIFT FORK SHAFT used will have an anti-wear coating.on the GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 3 area.
The GEAR SHIFT CAM used will have an anti-wear coating on the GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 1, GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 2, GEARSHIFT FORK NO. 3, and SHIFT CAM GEAR areas.
The SHIFT CAM GEAR used will have an anti-wear coating.
The GEAR SHIFT POLE NO. 1 used will have an anti-wear coating.
The GEAR SHIFT POLE NO. 2 used will have an anti-wear coating.
The 2 SHIFTING PAUL ROLLERS used will have anti-wear coatings.
The 2 SPRINGS used will have anti-wear coatings.
The GEAR SHIFTING PAWL LIFTER used will have an anti-wear coating.
The SHIFT CAM GUIDE used will have an anti-wear coating.
The SHIFT CAM STOPPER used will have an anti-wear coating on the STOPPER PLATE area.
The STOPPER PLATE used will have an anti-wear coating on the SHIFT CAM STOPPER area.

The BEARING will be used if a custom sandcast CRANKCASE SET is used.
The GEAR SHIFT SHAFT used will have an anti-wear coating on the SHIFT CAM GEAR and SPRING areas.
The SPRING used will have an anti-wear coating on the GEAR SHIFT SHAFT and CHANGE ARM STOP areas.
The CHANGE ARM STOP used will have an anti-wear coating on the SPRING area.
KICK STARTER
The KICK STARTER SHAFT used will have an anti-wear coating on the KICK STARTER and KICK LEVER ASSEMBLY areas.
The KICK STARTER used will have an anti-wear coating on the KICK STARTER SHAFT , KICK STARTER GUIDE, and DRIVE GEAR areas.
The KICK STARTER GUIDE used will have an anti-wear coating on the KICK STARTER area.
The DRIVE GEAR used will have an anti-wear coating on the KICK STARTER area.
The KICK LEVER ASSEMBLY used will have an anti-wear coating on the internal and KICK STARTER SHAFT areas.
MAGNETO
The PRIMARY COIL used will be rewired.
The ROTOR ASSEMBLY used will be lightened.
The NUT used will be an 08316-10127 nut.
The LOCK WASHER will not be used.
The 3MM WOODRUFF KEY used will be offset.
MUFFLER
The 1ST MUFFLER BODY used will be a custom tuned pipe with a flat black ceramic coating.
The 2ND MUFFLER BODY used will be a custom quiet tuned muffler, with a spark arrestor and flat silver ceramic coating.
The MUFFLER CONNECTOR used will be correctly sized.
The MUFFLER JOINT PIPE will not be used.
RADIATOR
The COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY is added.
The OVERFLOW BOTTLE ASSEMBLY is added.
THROTTLE BODY
The EFI SETUP used will be an ECOTRONS 2 STROKE SMALL ENGINE EFI KIT.
TRANSMISSION
The COUNTERSHAFT used will have anti-wear coatings on the gear though 2ND DRIVE GEAR and CLUTCH SLEEVE HUB areas.
The 2ND DRIVE GEAR used will have an anti-wear coating.
The 3RD DRIVE GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The 4TH DRIVE GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The 5TH DRIVE GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The 2 CIRCLIPS used will have anti-wear coatings.
The 2 SHIMS used will have anti-wear coatings.
The DRIVESHAFT used will have anti-wear coatings on the outer WASHER through BUSH area.
The 1ST DRIVEN GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The BEARING used will have an anti-wear coating.
The 2 WASHERS used will have anti-wear coatings, one with both sides, and the other with one side.
The 2ND DRIVEN GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The BUSH used will have an anti-wear coating.
The THRUST WASHER used will have an anti-wear coating.
The CIRCLIP used will have an anti-wear coating.
The 3RD DRIVEN GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The THRUST WASHER used will have an anti-wear coating.
The CIRCLIP used will have an anti-wear coating.
The 4TH DRIVEN GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The 5TH DRIVEN GEAR used will be undercut and have an anti-wear coating.
The ENGINE SPROCKET used will be correctly sized.
WATER PUMP
The 2 SCREWS used will be 01547-06167 BOLTS.
The SCREW used will be an 01547-06207 BOLT.
The SCREW used will be an 01547-06307 BOLT.
The 2 SCREWS used will be 01547-06757 BOLTS.
The PUMP DRIVEN GEAR used will be a custom steel gear.
The WATER PUMP SHAFT will not be used.
The 2 BEARINGS used will be TBD Japanese bearings.
The WATER PUMP IMPELLER will be a stock impeller, welded to the end of a custom aluminum shaft, with a similar to stock WATER PUMP SHAFT hardening level anti-wear coating on the SHAFT area.
The BOLT will not be used.
The LOCK WASHER will not be used.
The GASKET will not be used.

The aluminum water pump shaft might be tricky. Seeing as it interfaces with the crank

JGilbo from the old forum could have told you guys all about the 85-86 250, he put a lot of effort getting it competitive in drag racing.
He was running alky and a custom pipe among other things, but I haven't been in touch with him for a couple years now.

Lots of variables in that.
I'm waiting on Kyle to get his sandcast stuff then once that is done i will need to find someone to do all the machining on the new cases.
