Glad to see the forum is still kicking. Been a little while since I've been on here. Ran into a problem a few days ago. The numb nuts that had my LT250r before I did said he had the top end "freshened up". Well. Whatever he did was poor. My machinist can still see the bore bar marks which shows they over bored and couldn't hone.
Anyways. I decided to do a top end the correct way and the cylinder is out being taken to 68mm.
Big question now is: Do I go all in, split the cases, hot rods crank kit with all new bearings and seals to make it a complete motor rebuild or just do the top end?
There isn't any particular reason or problem too touch the bottom end, it would be done just because.
What do you guys think?
