I'm looking for a lrd or ftZ exhaust for my lt250r. Let me know what ua got.

Call FTZ, they make them again. I just bought a really nice silencer from them for my FTZ.

I emailed them a week or two ago, asking about their pipes and I still haven't heard anything back yet. Their old web site still says that they are on hold. and their current website says they are making a waiting list. I might just call them this week, from what I've heard though FTZ is definitely the way to go.

prices are Super fat 250r/lt250r: $495 (probably just for the header)
silencer: $118.95
Ceramic coating (chrome) an extra $145 (at least for their drag pipes, in frame might be a little more)
Springs: $4.50ea

Total brand new looks to be around $767.95 -S&H assuming only two springs and the 145 for coating

oh and add another $65 if you need their specialty spigot. I have no idea what they are referring to.

I did see that on their site guys, thanks for the heads up on the ftZ, I just actually found a brand new lrd pipe and silencer for 400$. I'm funna pick that up.

I've seen an inframe ftz 250 pipe and it was huge not far from the size of my Q v2 zilla pipe, the guy did say it was really top end heavy unlike the Honda version.

I might just have to swing by FTZ, they're just an hour and thirty two minutes away from where I'm at. Although, I hear that a FTZ pipe and a FMF Fatty Gold Series pipe are comparable. Correct me if I'm wrong, that's what I heard. The FTZ looks awesome though, similar to a TRX pipe in my opinion, only on the left side. TRX is the next quad I'll get

Idk about comparible to an fmf.. Theres a reason ppl pay big bucks for these pipes and fmf is cheaper!! These pipes need to match the porting and polish of the cylinder, compression, carb, airflow, jetting.. All that stuff comes into play to make the bike work correctly.. Ice racer can say some more about all this but honestly he has the numbers to show on the diff pipes and what not.. Everybody has opinion and idk if i trust ppls seat of the pants dyno suggestions.. Everybody likes a diff set up.. Me i like snappy!! I want the bike to flip over when im on the throttle but others dont.. If the ftz is topend pipe then idk if ima want one of those.. I want the low-mid for trails!!

Any idea what this specialty spigot is that they refer to on their website? would that be the flange?

I think the specialty spigot has something to do with using the pipe on a different cylinder. I saw something like a LT250r pipe with a TRX style spigot, so it could also be how you want to mount the pipe as opposed to a more conventional setup. I could be wrong, just check out the website and download the pdf file on the pipes and you should get a better understanding on it

I love it compared to the Shearer. I has smoother entry into the power band, and no dip in the mid range (yes, there is a dip in the mid). Looks cool, sounds cool, and runs hard.

I called ftp and I talked to a guy in the shop briefly. He said right now they are making kart exhaust pipes. He told me to email him my info that I'm wanting. He never said how long it will be before they are back to making ftz and lt pipes. But I know I'm wanting a top end hand coined and hammered pipe for an 86' 250!
