That would be sweet thanks.
Quick question, can I use my 85 air box with the 88 carb or would I need to get something like the newer boot?

If it is different then could I  just shave the inside of my boot to fit on the larger diameter carb?

The parts numbers are different tl but they all use the same box. 85 86 inlet tube num 13881-19a00
87 inlet tube 13881-01c00
88 to 90 inlet tube num 13881-01c10.
I would just order the right boot for wat year you are using. I think the highest price one was 15.00 $.

LT250RWV, I was talking about the same one. I mean $70.00 for a carb boot isnt that a little crazy! or is that just me?

Chuckie25, Ah thanks, sorry to be pestering you about it but I'm getting all kinds of antsy on getting this thing back together. I'm picking up the motor tomorrow, if the shop is open. Pretty excited I'll post up pictures and measurements of everything when I get it home  ;D

Oh, I guess i'm mistaken. Nope I need the one from the box to carb. My newer motor has V force reeds so I'm good from carb to motor.

Would any year of boot still interchange onto my air box?

I think that is the one. Its hard to tell since I don't have one. but as long as its the piece from air box to carb, I already have the carb to reeds. I'll PM you FX4.

If you're still looking i have a Taper Bored carb,  the cdi, and a few front master cylinders for whoever was looking for that. Shoot me offers. All has to go.  Also have an airbox you could hhave from an 87.
