selling 87 zilla
« on: May 04, 2013, 05:24:01 pm »
selling my recent purchace, a stock 87 LT500R so I can buy my daughter her first car.
Bike is stock except for holeshot tires, Answer SA2 silencer and a UNI airfilter. This bike sat garaged for over 2 years. I bought it thru a guy I work with. Bike is in good shape, has small crack on the right Dumbo ear and a crack on thr right side of the rear fender by fender bracket mount. Seat is in good condition has one small section on the left that is come unstapled. The hood has 2 cracks in it. The bike is all there though. It has never been molested, still has factory skid plate and key assembly. Engine is all stock and never opened up. No cracks at swingarm hole and case guard still intact!
I did replace the front wheel bearings and rear axle bearings due to them being no good from sitting for years. I cleaned out the carb and it started on the second kick. Sits there and idles perfect. I have only ridden it 2 times for 5 mins runs ok but needs to be cleaned out. The best part is this is the 49th Zilla to come of the assembly line (Vin 00049). Has to be one of the first on the east coast. Was owned by 1 person. Asking $2200 on this site, higher thru Clist. will post pictures soon. call Pat at 508-726-1186
