Sand tires
« on: March 14, 2014, 01:34:17 am »
My dad is looking to sell these sand tires that came with his 87 Quadzilla. GBC 22x8-10 fronts and Skat Trak Hauler 8 paddle 20x10-10 rears. I've never owned, sold, bought, or even ridden on a set of  sand tires before so I'm not really sure how good these tires are. The fronts are like new and the rears show some use but still in good shape. He was wanting $80 for the fronts and $150 for the rears but would probably sell them all together for $200 plus shipping.

Located near Findlay, OH. Rear steel wheels available for free if someone wants to pick the whole package up. They're 5-lug.

I just tried using the ups website for a quote and after putting them in at a 24x24x24 package at 30 pounds, it came up with a cost of $64.00. Seems a bit high. I just shipped a 60lb motor to California for $98.

That would be sweet but that's two months away and I wouldn't have a super easy tire changer to put them on with! Lol

You don't have to package them in a box with UPS. Just mash them flat and put tape around them. Some people put cardboard circles at the ends. PM me a price. Thanks

@Buckeye513: I'll let you know what stores we get to tomorrow and if that doesn't work out we can do usps. I've avoided the post office because they took 3 weeks to get an axle out to Washington and the buyer put a claim in on PayPal even though he knew it was on its way. Long story short, it caused me to miss out on a killer deal on set of Elka's for the front of my current build so I just avoid them out of spite.

@petenorth: If for some reason the sale doesn't work out with Buckeye513, you have next dibs on the rears.
