Couple 86 250'S
« on: March 15, 2013, 08:15:06 am »
I bought  these bikes for the grandsons a couple years ago.  They learned to ride on them, got bigger, and now just want to be on the 450's.  Sad huh?
Anyway,   The white one had a trashed piston when I bought it.   It had a full LRD port job, cut head, 38 Keihn carb, and the LRD pipe.
HPR did the top end, New wiseco piston(I don't remember bore size) the head was trashed so I replaced with a stocker,  changed the carb to a 34 mikuni that runs a clamp on K&N.
The bike has alot of chrome and polished stuff, but it is old, has some flaking and a bit of rust in the corners. Maier plastic, Cascade seat.....its a bit unique.   Runs and rides very well, lights don't work and I haven't looked to see why.

The yellow bike is all stock... for real...bought from a friend who just had the the top end done, first time apart.  It also runs and rides very well.

I do have the title on the yellow one,  the White I do not.   I'm asking $1250.00 each.   Someone needs them both!

I would really like to find a home for these two..........they are good runner/riders as is or would be great hybrid candidates.

Open to all offers and/or trades...????
