I'm 99% sure it won't work.

The diameter of the 500 bearing carrier is 50mm which is the largest produced by any quad manufacturer and I'm pretty sure the carrier bearing diameter of the 250 is smaller than that.

I'm sure you'll be happy with Carl's work, he's top notch.
