I have an 87 LT500 engine up for sale. The lower end needs trans work but i have a complete 88 trans assembly to go with it. The top end has been bored, I have the new piston , rings, gaskets, new boysen reeds, reed spacer. The top end is off , it has had the head stud upgrade, I will work on pics today. Hate to sell but need to fund another project (GSXR750 quad). $1200

And more pics. What I know about this motor is the trans is locked up, the crank spins but the trans does not. I have the 88 trans assembly that will go with the motor. The cylinder has a sleeve installed, it is the type of sleeve that is installed into the original sleeve. I had it bored to 86.75 have the new piston, rings, pin, clips and bearing. Reeds are new Boysen with one ride on them (then trans locked up), have the reed spacer and Cometic gasket set. If you would like more pics or specific pics let me know. Any questions just ask.
