DCS-Version 5 With Some Dyno Testing.
« on: March 28, 2013, 11:53:58 am »
Getting Ready to set up a dyno testing date soon, Just rode it around the shop area seems to have the same torque as the V-4 put pulls higher RPM, Dyno testing should tell me how we did on this one, This is a DCS-4 modified to Version 5, If the dyno graphs look good a new jig will be done and next batch of pipes should be ready sometime in May. Many Thanks to Don Kistler, Dave Miller, Harry Klemm for there input on this design!
Folks just note Im doing this as a Hobby Project, And looking to make a few extra pipes to cover the cost is all.

DCS-4

I was told by Don that a phone call was made to him for some input.. And I talked to Dave Miller DMC. My goal was to get that 6000 - 7000 rpm handled.

Looks good but looks like more of a top end / dune pipe? Also, what about making up some 250 pipes Mitchell, or a hybrid pipe.

Some DCS-5 Graphs 3-8-13 w/DCS-4 Graph from 2-2-13
Working on some tuning issues to smooth out the lines some more , easy fix, should hit the dyno again in a few weeks.

When you're done fine tuning the DCS 5 what's an estimated price point or range if you will? Give a range that way you're not locked in to low list me out raw, plated and plated/polished.
