I posted this before just in the wrong section... i am getting a pro curcit silencer from a 98 rm 250 for 25$ can i put it on my lt250r with no back lash?? my stock exhaust is crap dented and need repacked back ... is vary rusted and beat ... i should gain HP right ?? someone please put in 2 cents

The silencer won't hurt your power, it may help it abit. Depends on the condition of the packing. The fresher it is the better mid range you'll get.

that is what i like to hear .. the kid bought it for the wrong bike it has sat for 2 years never installed

Dez, if the silencer is smaller or more restrictive, then it will affect power and possibly engine life.
Remember the problems associated with the AAEN spark arrestor?

Only way to know for sure is to find out what the measurements and such are on the RM250.
If it's less restrictive, go for it.

If that silencer core is 1 1/8" I.D. I'd run it
