1990 head gasket
« on: February 10, 2016, 06:54:04 pm »
Hey guys,

I'm new here I am redoing a head gasket on my 1990 250r. Close to stock cylinder may be on its second/ or third bore. Anyways I bought a master gasket kit back when I rebuilt it and have a blown head gasket. A lot of people have commented on some of the threads get cosmic but is there something thinner that I could get for more compression? I know on the TRX250r a lot of people run a ATC250R head gasket because they are smaller and thus give it a little more compression.

Thank You in Advance +k2 +k2

Thin gaskets are more likely to leak than thick gaskets.  Check your piston to head clearance before installing a thinner gasket or milling the head
