1987 lt250r gearbox help
« on: September 16, 2013, 06:20:51 am »
I'm in Australia and I have an 87 model that I race on flat track, problem is I need new gears for the gearbox. Can anyone PLEASE help? I have an 89 rm250 motor, will those gears fit? The lt is the 5 bolt intake.

No the rm motorcycle gears probably aren't going to work, probably not engineered to handle the extra 250cc of displacement either

Ebay or the classifieds on this site r ur best bet. There is someone splitting up a bottom end here...recently forgot who .. Damn crs

Man I can't read either... Its for a 250 duh! Carry on  :))
