Plastics help
« on: December 14, 2012, 08:47:14 pm »
Hey guys im having trouble finding blue rears for my 87 restoration. If anyone knows where i can find a set or buy a set. Or if anyone has swapped plastics off a different bike that match up nice. Any help would be appreciated. And i have tried maier they no longer make blue rears.
Thanks

You should call Maier and ask them directly.  The blue is a real nice colour.  Just checking, the the plastics are the same except the little holes under the seat are different for the airbox stuff. Depending on the year of course.

I'd be cautious about just buying an aftermarket rear fender, more than likely the color won't match up.
OEM suzuki is about the only color that stays the same, so if you want blue fenders I would recommend getting the whole set and selling what you have instead.

Ive called maier they only have blue fronts in stock they will not make me blue rears unless i order 5 sets of them.   Im just gonna get my yellows wrapped in vinyl and give up on blue plastics. There like a bigfoot look crazy but hard to find lol
