I would spend some time on the lower frame rails for sure. Maybe weld some strip along the bottom. Looks like it might be rusting from the inside out. I have a 89 frame that did that.  I never attempted to weld it. I'm not so great at tricky welds like that.

Is it really that bad? What bit looks the worse? Any advise Kyle.

I'd say the piles of welds all over is the worst. Looks like a not so good weld job at some point in its life. But I'm sure it could be fixed right up with some TLC.

Ok i managed to find a few pics so i sort of know. It does seem its rusted from inside out as there is a few rust stains dipping out. How will i go about the rust inside? Maybe some sort of rust remover? I haven't got a clue lol

Yeah that bit does concerns me! I wont doing the welding i'll be sending it to someone who knows what there doing so im not worried about that. Its just making sure theres no rust inside the frame.

I agree with Gil. The cracks, rust throughs, and the "repairs". Yikes. Will take some talent to fix. The lower frame rails can be cut out and replaced, and that fuel tank bracket will need to be cut off and rewelded on straight.
I wonder. Maybe some sort of air pressurized CLR spray inside the frame, or etching primer...

Yeah the repair aint the best is it lol, All of what you said did cross my mind so thats defenitly getting addressed. I was maybe thinking of filling the whole frame with some of this http://www.bilthamber.com/deox-gel and then getting a good clean out?

Or is that plain stupid  P*

Interesting interesting.
Might just work.
But would be ugly if it Noms all the rust inside the tubes, making them thinner and weaker...

That's nearly as bad as mine was. Ended up cutting both lowers out and completely replacing them.
