Title: Rim and tire selection lt250r

New to the forum.  I'm rebuilding an 89 LT250R and I switched over to Z400 front and rear hubs.  I mostly do trail riding and am hoping someone can assist with with best sprocket count (12/42) stock or something different?  Not worried about top speed, but good low end with moderate top.  Also, best front/rear tire size.  I know the Z400 hubs open up my options more.  Thoughts?

Any modifications to the engine or basically stock?

Stock engine, but freshly rebuilt.

I'd run the stock gearing with 20" rears and stock 21"fronts.
