Title: Carb rebuilt kit - where you guys buying from?
Post by: Doug123 on May 31, 2021, 12:44:20 pm
Hi Guys,

My 1992 has been parked for 7 years and it's time to revive her.

Where is everyone buying their carb rebuild kits from?

Thanks & safe riding.

Mine had been parked for 15 yrs; I pulled the jets out of the carb, sprayed them out with carb cleaner, then with compressed air.
Sprayed carb cleaner thru all the orifices in the carb body, followed by compressed air.
Pull the petcock off the gas tank and clean it out the same way.
Get a new air filter (the old one will be deteriorating, even if it looks ok- cheap insurance!)
Mix up fresh gas, make sure to have a couple new plugs handy.
That should get you going, if you have any specific issues with the carb, K&L makes carb kits.
Go have fun!

Thank you!

Where can I find K&L?  Do they have a web-site?  I checked the vendors and don't see the name.

Rocky Mountain ATV has great prices on aftermarket and OEM Suzuki parts. They carry K&L.
