Just wondering how many of the older original guys still have their quads and or ride them.
It's kinda depressing reading through some of the posts/topics then seeing that it's been like 5 or 6 years since these were posted.
Would be really nice to try to get this site active again ?
-
I still have mine. Doesn't really ever get used much. When the weather is warmer my supermoto xr650r gets all the attention. I plan on never selling my hybrid though.
-
Be interesting to see how many people reply on this post
-
Still have my 500. Only gets ridden when i go to the dunes once or twice a year - Spring/fall. Didnt make it this fall though.
When i went back in the spring, there were only 2 quads in our group and both were 500s. Everything else were new SXS's. The 500s were the only things that didnt break. Go figure. lol
-
I only ride once a year in the dunes, or when I bother getting ready for the dunes.
-
Just took my 500 out to Glamis for the first time in 4 years... I must say, it was an absolute blast to ride that beast again and I won’t wait that long to do it again! Such a night and day experience from riding a 4-stroke.
Ok guys, keep those smokers going!
-
Although I have a yfz450 I still take my hybrid also when I go to glamis. A lot of guys have SxS's now. But that is ok. It looks like I will be getting another hybrid because of it.
-
Site is even more dead than I thought sadly
-
I guess most people go to quadracer on facebook. I rarely go on facebook. It would be nice if this site and quadracer on facebook could interact.
-
Would much rather be here than fb but fb is easier I guess.
-
Still have both my 87 250's...One I've owned for a looooooooong time and one is a hybrid...Still ride both as they are the only quads I have at the moment...Just haven't had the time to get out much the past couple seasons...In the process of install a billet clutch basket, clutch plates, etc on the hybrid.
I don't have facebook so no idea what it's like on there...Wish there was more traffic in here like before.
-
I got mine and started my son a collection of his own.
-
Glad to hea some guys (back from the the old days ) have still got things going on .
Good to hear
-
Fairly new to the site, but not to quadracers. Have an 85 in my basement thats taking too long to complete. So hard to find the right parts short of spending a small fortune. Motor is completely rebuilt. Stock frame. +2 arms. Chromoly swingarm. Graves seat. Have some elka front shocks but working on relocating the mounts. Graydon proline bumpers and nerfs. Bassani pipe and silencer. Will post some pics soon if anyone cares to see
-
Pics are always nice
-
Pictures yes!
-
every time I try to upload PICS I get an error message
-
Need to use a third party like tapatalk.
I just cleared my phone and now cannot get this forum back on tapatalk .So I guess no more pics from me !!
-
Somehow I managed to get tapatalk back(??)
If anyone searches it the its 'Suzuki Quadracer HQ' .
Not all one word like the forum address.
-
WTH is tapatalk???
-
Easy way to post pics on this site.
-
Im gonna have to look into taptalk. Its such a pain in the ass posting pic on forums, But the forums are where its at these days.
-
Still have my LT500. Bought it in 1990 and have had blast riding through the years. Currently resurrecting the old quad as it has been sitting idle a few years. Sent the motor out to Jerry awhile back for a refresh and looking forward to getting it all back together. This sight is a gold mine of information that has given me motivation to make updates and improvements to the old beast.
-
I'm still here, still got my old 250 and Zilla.
-
B_fuss and I both have our machines running (Bill not so much this season), but we're still riding glamis 5-6 trips a season.
Tried to put up some pics but site says upload folder is full.
-
Use tapatalk for posting pics.
Glad people are still around
-
Still working on the roller. When i figure out exactly what parts are going to be on it, its all getting powder coat

Having issues uploading pics
-
Need to use tapatalk (or similar) as a third party for photos

-
Still around and still have the 500. Not much time for riding anymore though
-
Still messing around with the Zillas & check on the site once in awhile. Doesn’t look like there’s much action these days, hate to say it but I may have to join FB at some point :-\
-
I'm on the fb groups but would rather be here
-
Still have the liger, just sitting in the shop
-
Still owning my Zilla as well all the way across the pond down here in Germany. Getting it street legal in 2 Weeks. Will post some updates soon ;)

Let me get the hang of riding it for a while and I´ll be posting vids soon ;)
-
that thing is sexy af!
-
thx buddy ... still some minor wokrs to do since the banshee shocks upfront are too soft. thinking about the yfz450 shock mod.
and also the rear swinger is still the stock one but the aftermarket ones are way too expensive :(((
all in all Im gonna ride it this year thru summer and tear it apart in winter for reworks ;)
-
Try to get stiffer front springs. The shocks might be good, you just need the proper spring rate for your weight and the fact you are on a road.
-
Stiffness already maxxed out :( Looks I am still too heavy, a fat bastard, respectively :)))
-
I did the YFZ shock conversion and it works well for me...Plus you can adjust the compression and rebound as an added bonus...:)
-
allrighty Rainman. Let me try to get a deal on them 450 shocks asap then ;)
-
Testing

Take a look at these swingers from Terrafab. Anyone dealt with them?

Never dealt with them but have dealt with Metal Tech for A-arms.........Metal Tech was great to deal with and everything fit perfect.
