Title: Rear Brake Rotor Chinks/Tubes in Tubeless/Twist Throttle
Post by: KIKBAK1 on August 12, 2017, 03:45:23 pm
Noticed there's chinks in on the rear brake rotor. How bad is this? Looks like I'll need a new one.

The previous owner told me there's tubes in the rear tires. The tires are marked tubless, so whats the point?

Also, got a Motion Pro twist throttle from a guy on craigslist. He had it on a trx450r but went back to thumb throttle. Would this be good for the 250r?

If you can afford it, get a new disk. If you are on a budget, you could probably get away with using a sanding flap disk on the bad spots.

I run a set of tubes in an old set of paddle tires myself, just to get the most use out of them. It doesn't hurt anything except for the few extra ounces of weight and that if the tube slips in the wheel, you will shear off the valve stem.

The Motion Pro should work. I don't see why not?
