Title: ENGINE BUILDER OTHER THAN TRINITY
Post by: Bhorn23 on February 28, 2017, 03:35:52 pm
A few years ago i was going to have my 87 250r motor built by trinity. They had a 310 kit available for $1900 and some change, they also sold a pipe and carb for this kit. Long story short that never happened. I just spoke with them and they no longer work on engines. Who is a good company to work on my motor.

IF you are dead set on Trinity racing doing your engine work, you should look up Mcdermott racing.  Harry sold the trinity name a few years ago but he still works on engines.  Don't know about pipes though. He has a website.

Msg Carl Bartlett aka Iceracer on these forums.

He also has his own forum here.

CC Chart for engine sizes + 6 is pretty tight and really not recommended really there just for Honda Comparison.

So I take it a stroker kit for our 250R’s is a bad idea?

Carl Bartlett is the man to ask about big bore kits or striker motors.  He has built them before and he has experience with them.
