Title: Nerf Bars Compatible with 92' 250r

Hello all you knowledgeable 250r people. Question for you..... What years/makes of neft bars are compatible with a 1992 LT250R?

The only ones I can find on eBay are anywhere from $155 and up. Even used (steel) they want $129. I'm looking to get my R ready for my next Desert Race and nerf bars are required (not to mention having them make me feel warm and fuzzy.)

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you!  +k2

I believe that the nerf bars from 85-92 are all interchangeable. I haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise.

I guess I should have made the question with a little more detail. What years/make/brands (Honda,Yamaha, ect.) would fit on a 92 LT250R. I'm looking for alternatives other then Suzuki only nerf bars.

I bought and installed Tusk Z400 foot pegs and they fit with a little fineness of the front motor mount locations on the nerf bars.

Hay 98 Hybrid, Did the front shocks of the 2016 YFZ450R bolt right up or did some modification have to happen? I need some better front suspension on my 92.

I think he has a yfz front end clip on his lt.

No I chopped the whole front end off and bent all new tubing.  From my research YFZ450 front shocks will bolt on.  But not YFZ450R shocks.  They are a lot longer.
