What kind of soil will be the drag races be on. What type of tire are you running. What is the length of the swingarm are you running. What is your motor set up. Race gas or methanol. Porting. Traapped CR not kicking compression.

Dirt drags and field drags. Brand new paddle style knobbie tires not 100% on the brand and name of tire. Swing arm is stock length will run a detachable aluminum wheelie bar. Will be running max 100 to 110 octane gas. Not sure what trapped cr not kicking compression means.

Don't run a 12 on the front it creates a bind in the chain. A lot guys don't like 13 fronts for this reason. I would try a 14-42, 13-42 for drags. I think most of the Guys are running Krause chains and sprockets. Most steel sprockets will work good. Just stay away from aluminum, they wear out fast and teeth like to break off.

Just getting started getting my 87 Zilla up to snuff wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a sprocket set up and chain to use mainly want to gear for drag racing but also want to trail ride it. Mainly for the chain want something that's gonna last a little bit. Tooth count on sprockets I was thinking 12 front 42 rear or 13 and 42 opinions please also any recommended brands.
