a guy i know just welded some tabs to the front frame rails and used small spacers to run a trx 450r front bumper. like westtex said new bumpers will not bolt on bc the 250 uses round clamps that wrap around the frame as opposed to threaded bolt holes. i remember when the mini truck scene was popular and people would swap bumpers from different makes they would take their stock bumper mounting set up and either bolt it or weld it to a different bumper and shazam! maybe your could do something similar to that... The LTZ and LTR bumpers do not fit, and I've taken measurements from other makes (Honda, KFX, YFZ) and they weren't close enough to try either.
Of course, with some shop time in order you can make just about any bumper fit, or fab up an adapter subframe...or just make your own bumper for that matter.

Just wondering if anyone ever tried to install a bumper from a newer 400z or anything newer on a 88 lt250r, because they dont make very many for the LT?
