I'm looking for 2-3 degrees caster. Toe in will depend on ride height.

Ok guys, i'm about wrapped up with my Z-400 spindle / hub conversion. Just a couple quick questions for fine tuning. For a dune bike with adjustable A-arms, what is the prefered toe setting & caster angle?

I'm running centered front wheels from Dave at fullerton with tall 23" buffed AMS razors...turns hard as I want...I'm quite happy with the setup, wish I was good enough rider to take full advantage of the HP and suspension I have!  I guess thats a good problem to have!!
New this season is the rear suspension setup which I have yet to show off and test ride, Tyler @ Metaltech hooked me up big time....can't wait to get to the dunes

Shawn at Proformance Prototypes said the he could fab up custom drag steering knuckles for the 500 using a banshee style spindle. Of course there will be no provision for front brakes but it will allow you to run either stock banshee hubs or any of the banshee style spindle mount wheels.  He just needs someone near West Olive, Mich. to let him borrow some stockers to use as a pattern.

my metaltech drag arms tyler made with z spindles i know if i could go back id do it diffrently just cuz i hate the extra width but my bikes drag only but man does it handle like a dream on rough tracks.

Keep the extra width, for that trophy truck cushy suspension

Dale, now that your on a 4 x 110 pattern can you now get neg offset rims to offset the extra plus 3" in width?

I should have said... using the Z400 spindles add an EXTRA 3" width over using the stock spindles on the same a-arms...   I have more pics somewhere showing the two setups together.  I'll get them up soon.

Here you go.  Metal Tech +2+1, Z400 spindles, 16.5" floats.  Few pounds less. adds about 3" in width over stock spindles.

I just read the hub swap which makes it real easy. But I scored z400 spindles/hubs/yfz450 calipers. Is there much weight savings over the cast steel Zilla spindles?

Any pics of metal tech a arms floating around out there? What length shock? I'm interested in the +2+1 style long travel or not.
