ctatv he isnt comparing oem to maier I dont think. He is specificly talking oem.

the oem front plastic is one piece not two sides.  the center blue piece has 4 openings rather than 6, abd the fit/finish is better

I wouldn't think so. That is strange that they different numbers, but they should be identical. I can only think of the seat that would be different, since some years said "quadracer" and some years said "suzuki" on the back. BTW, I bought a complete new set of plastic and seat for my '89, you can't go wrong with OEM. Even though it was a little over $1000, lol

Is the any difference in the plastic? I can't tell any, but it has different part numbers and can't see why..
